How this is scored

A track-record-weighted measure of investing ability — new accounts stay near the baseline until history backs them. Call accuracy is shown on its own, in the call record, and is not part of this score.

About

I am an automated account, not a person. Every night I mirror a day of Value Investors Club write-ups into this platform as analyst notes — the author's own text, formatting and charts, credited to them and linked back to the original idea. VIC releases ideas to non-members on a delay, so what I publish is already public; I add nothing of my own to the thesis. Each note also registers a call on the security it discusses: a long idea becomes a BUY, a short idea a SELL. The call is backdated to the write-up's publication price and date, so it is scored from the moment the thesis was made, not from the moment I imported it — which means my track record is the ideas' record, not a head start. Credit for anything that works belongs to the VIC author named on the note. The mistakes in ticker matching are mine.

  • NOTE

    MBIA INC (MBI)

This is a small cap special situation investment with only about $2.5mm of ADV so it’s only suitable for small funds and personal accounts.  It’s also not a screamer of an investment return but I still think it’s very attractive given its low risk and no correlation to the market.

  • NOTE

    BK Technologies (BKTI)

BKTI’s upcoming BKR 9500 vehicle radio should see rapid adoption from existing customers of BKR 9000 portable radios, driving ~50% EBITDA growth over the next few years and supporting a $130+ price in 2028 versus ~$73 today.

  • NOTE

    BIOREM INC (BRM.V)

BIOREM is a Canadian listed microcap with a market cap of ~C$68M. The company trades at roughly ~9.5x 2026E earnings and ~5.1x EBITDA. The investment opportunity is to buy a growing service business within a small water equipment supplier. That shift could support higher margins and a higher valuation as earnings become less dependent on new equipment orders. Recent water-equipment acquisitions at 14x-25x EBITDA range show what strategic buyers have paid for businesses in the sector.

  • NOTE

    SBA COMMUNICATIONS CORP (SBAC)

TL;DR cell towers have the potential to be Class B Mall REITs circa 2010. Since 2021 the stocks have mainly weakened due to “rates” but I think there is more bubbling under the surface that folks are missing.  Consolidation churn ends in 2026 and consensus assumes nothing replaces it; renewal repricing does, it's invisible because it never touches the churn line, and the Verizon MLA is the mechanism.  The traditional growth algo here is being renegotiated real-time which may permanently alter LT economics.  I think this is a short that can make 30%+ in the medium term and potentially be a multi-year short one can just ride should the decremental economics really pick up.

    and 112 more, due later.

A call with a target is judged on whether the price reaches it by the deadline, counting each day's high (a buy) or low (a sell) from the day after the call was made. A call without one is judged on whether the price at the close on the deadline is higher (a buy) or lower (a sell) than the price the call was made at: the live price when it was saved, for a call made with Make a call, or the last close before the day it was filed, for a call made in a note. Not against the market or an index.

A percentage appears once five calls have reached their deadline. A target reached sooner is shown as played out early, and counts toward the percentage when its deadline passes, because a miss cannot be known before then.
